Short Bio

Dr. Asma A. Alderaa is an assistant professor at King Saud University (KSU) and a neuro and lymphatic rehabilitation consultant with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. She holds an MSc in Rehabilitation Therapy from St. George’s University, London, and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Nottingham. Dr. Alderaa is the founder and president of the Saudi Arabia Lymphoedema Framework (SALF), affiliated with the International Lymphoedema Framework (ILF), and leads the SALF subgroup under the Saudi Physical Therapy Association. A member of ILF and the British Lymphoedema Society, she is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. Her research focuses on neuro and lymphatic rehabilitation, particularly multiple sclerosis, lymphoedema, and lipoedema, and she actively contributes to clinical work and community health education.
