Short Bio

Othman Alkassabi serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tawuniya and chairs the boards of three of its subsidiaries. He actively contributes as a board and advisory council member across various organizations. Bringing nearly two decades of experience in healthcare and insurance, he has held prominent leadership roles, including CEO of Tawuniya’s Health and Life Sector, Executive Director of Enablement and Oversight, and Spokesperson for the Council of Health Insurance. Since his appointment, Alkassabi has been instrumental in advancing Tawuniya’s strategic growth and digital transformation. He has harnessed innovative technologies, enhanced customer-focused services, and aligned the company's direction with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. These efforts have strengthened Tawuniya’s market leadership position and contributed to nearly tripling its earnings per share (EPS) Othman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from King Saud University, an MBA from Hochschule Furtwangen University, Germany, and an Executive MBA in Leadership and Global Management from Al Yamamah University. He is also pursuing a PhD at Vrije Universiteit in Brussels. Beyond his professional work, Alkassabi continues to pursue his passion as a physical therapist specializing in musculoskeletal sports medicine at MENA clinics. He also actively supports several charitable organizations and serves on the board of the Zahra Breast Cancer Association
